Founded in Atlanta, Georgia, Poek Labs was created to transform how control on power electronics is learned, taught and applied.
As a center of knowledge and innovation, we integrate education, research, and engineering development through high-end prototyping hardware and modular laboratory systems that bring theory to life.
We also offer specialized consulting services in digital control and power conversion, supporting the design and optimization of advanced energy systems.
Our mission is to empower the next generation of professionals, developers and researchers in digital control applied to power electronics through innovation, precision, and practical learning.
Poek Labs derives its name from a fusion of key principles:

  • Po – Power

  • E  – Electronics

  • K  – Derived from the Russian verb kontrol. Also, K is the most common gain variable in control.

The second word Labs indicates our beliefs that “one practical laboratory could teach more than a thousand lectures” and thus we are committed to pushing the boundaries of power electronics innovation and education.

CONSULTING

Our expertise supports technology companies in the analysis and modeling of power electronic converters such as isolated and non-isolated dc-dc topologies, voltage and current source inverters, single-phase and three phase systems, etc, ensuring high accuracy and precision with the real models. Poek also offers digital control design and development based on the abovementioned models to meet the needed requirements. Finally, we help with the control code implementation, adapting ourselves to the customer needs which will allow the product to be approved by standards and certifications such as IEEE-1547 and UL-1741-SA and SB.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Through Poek Labs Online Academy (POLO-A), we deliver comprehensive and dedicated training programs in digital control on power electronics.
